Rockland Scientific looks forward to displaying an operational unit of the VMP-500 Coastal Turbulence Profiler at the 39th Liege Colloquium on Ocean Turbulence.

The 2007 Colloquium on Turbulence Re-Revisited is held at Liége University (ULG, Belgium) in the first full week of May 2007. The meeting has the following topics:

  • Turbulence and Waves (Fabrice Ardhuin, Brest; Hans van Haren, Texel)
  • Turbulence in buoyant and dense plumes (Hartmut Peters, Miami; Anna Wåhlin, Stockholm)
  • Turbulence and the marine ecosystem (Laurent Seuront, CNRS & Flinders; Luca van Duren, Middelburg)
  • Turbulence observations in the ocean (Jim Moum, Corvallis; Tom Rippeth, Bangor)
  • Turbulence modelling in the ocean (Lars Umlauf, Warnemünde; Vittorio Canuto, New York)
